With ROI's extesnive experience in machining large, heavy engine castings, the production of oil and gas well components has become a natural extension of ROI's business. ROI produces semi-finished fluid ends for fracture pumps. Known as 'frac' pumps in the industry, these 4,700 lb. parts make up the working end of extremely large, high-powered, severe duty pumps that generate hydraulic pressure in order to fracture underground rock in the vicinity of an oil or gas well and stimulate well production.
